Depravity Week at Yale
Yale works overtime to protect the feelings of its preferred groups: We kick off our yearly celebration of Black History Month with a special keynote address delivered to a dinner seating 235 in my college dining hall. We have a “Coming Out Day” where homosexuals can jump through a big pink door on Cross-Campus (“to the cheers of friends”). The Yale Daily News, like many newspapers in the country, prudishly refused to publish the now-infamous Mohammed cartoons for fear of offending Muslim students. But there is one group that Yale is delighted to offend: Christians.
