Add a key geographic position in one of the world's most volatile regions and an important supply of oil reserves. Don't forget to mix in proven support for terrorism and clear statements of aggression against neighboring countries. What could top it off better than nuclear weapons?
From Yale: Hamas Continues Fatah's 'Work'
The recent Palestinian elections were indeed an example of democracy in action. Democracy, among other things, is a diagnostic. The voters show us what kind of people they are. In electing Hamas, the Palestinian majority has shown itself to be a bunch of murderous cutthroats. Ask these questions of the Palestinians, and take the answers from “The Covenant of the Hamas,” which was written in 1988:
